Role description
Wripple is looking for a Media Technology Product Owner for one of our clients in the airline industry. This is a 12-month, 40 hour/week, hybrid onsite long-term contract role with opportunities to extend. You must be able to go onsite to the client's headquarters 3 days/week in south Atlanta. Join us as the product leader driving the evolution of the company's media, data connectivity, and audience‑activation technologies. In this role, you will define and deliver capabilities that power our paid media performance, strengthen our first‑party data strategy, and enhance the consistency and quality of customer experiences across digital channels. As a Product Owner, you’ll sit at the intersection of our marketing, data engineering and architecture solutions teams, our agency and our media partners—translating media business needs into technical requirements and steering end‑to‑end delivery of complex data and media workflow solutions. You’ll ensure our media platforms, tagging infrastructure and customer data flows work seamlessly together, enabling the company to activate smarter, more effective, and privacy‑forward media. You will lead with a mindset of continuous improvement—enhancing operational excellence, advancing data integrity, refining cross‑team workflows, and championing innovation across the marketing and technology landscape. Responsibilities Strategic Product Execution • Serve as the strategic lead for our media technology ecosystem, including data ingestion pipelines, audience platforms, tagging infrastructure, and activation workflows. • Own and evolve the product roadmap across media tech capabilities, aligning platform enhancements with enterprise priorities and marketing objectives. • Translate business needs into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria, ensuring successful delivery through agile development practices. • Manage end‑to‑end delivery of features related to first‑party data ingestion, identity resolution, metadata structures, tagging accuracy, and media activation workflows. • Deep expertise in 1st‑party data strategy, including experience with platforms such as LiveRamp, Acxiom and other identity-based activation frameworks. Cross‑Squad Collaboration and Leadership • Partner with IT, privacy, marketing teams, operations, external agencies and other product owners to ensure seamless path to production (P2P) media workflows and prioritization. • Lead sprint ceremonies—including backlog refinement, planning, demos, and retrospectives—to ensure continuous alignment across technology and marketing squads. • Act as the connective tissue between business stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring clarity on priorities, blockers, and dependencies. • Coordinate across product squads to ensure cohesion between media tech, broader MarTech platforms, and enterprise data capabilities. Stakeholder Engagement • Engage regularly with internal stakeholders, Product Sponsors, agency teams, and development partners to communicate progress, gather feedback, and ensure product alignment to business outcomes. • Use data‑driven insights and validation to support prioritization, backlog decisions, and future product iterations. • Provide transparency into product plans, risks, dependencies, and upcoming enhancements. Agile Methodology Advocacy • Champion agile best practices within media and data technology squads, using tools like Agility or Jira to manage workflows and maintain data integrity. • Foster a culture of iteration, learning, and flexibility as business and technology needs evolve. • Contribute to broader Product Owner communities of practice to elevate product excellence across Marketing Technology. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS) • Experience in media operations, audience strategy, or media technology. • Experience in marketing technology and ownership of a capability product. • Ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements and user stories. • Ability to communicate strategy with purpose and persuasion, shaping understanding and alignment across diverse stakeholders • Strong understanding of media tagging, identity resolution, ad operations, and analytics instrumentation. • Working knowledge of 1st‑party data ecosystems and platforms such as LiveRamp, CDPs, and audience activation tools. • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and effective at managing multiple workstreams in a dynamic environment. • Data‑driven problem solver with strong analytical and decision‑making skills. • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and external partners. • Action‑oriented with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence. WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS) • Hands‑on experience with tag management systems (Ensighten, Adobe Launch) ad‑serving platforms (Flashtalking/Innovid), and identity-based resolution/activation platforms (LiveRamp, Acxiom) • Experience with media reporting, performance diagnostics, and understanding of KPIs such as ROAS, conversion rate, and incrementality. • Familiarity with agile frameworks and backlog management tools. • Prior experience working with or within agencies across programmatic, paid social, or digital analytics functions. • Experience in airline, travel, or customer loyalty environments a strong plus. • Proficiency in data visualization or analysis tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
