Medical Billing Consultant with Data Analysis Experience/Expertise - Job Ad 06.2025 Remote Contracted Project Estimated up to 10 hours/week for 2-3 months. Understanding of what medical organizations need to see from their billing data to make business decisions. Harness billing data to present in Microsoft Power BI, including DAX and Power Query. Position Overview (Responsibilities): Create reports and dashboards to provide business and financial insights, with billing and practice data. Potential for some client-facing meetings to determine specific business goals and set them up with reports that answer those needs. Work with clients through the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data in Power BI. Follow best practices in data manipulation to ensure data integrity. Provide ongoing support to clients on reporting projects: Develop and deliver data support on critical use cases so clients understand new visualizations and how to access their new reports or dashboards. Collaborate with the client as needed to ensure a project meets our clients’ needs. What you can contribute (Requirements): College degree or certification in relevant field preferred. 3-5 years relevant work experience required. Authority with data dashboarding and business intelligence tools (especially Power BI and Excel). Ability to apply data analytics to a variety of use cases from business development to clinical operations and medical billing. Experience in the medical industry working with highly regulated data and HIPAA. Creative and curious problem solver, able to take an ambiguous and complex need and develop data / analytics solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across the business with technical and non-technical associates and clients. Proactive delivery communication and consistent follow up. Ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints.
