

Medicare Advantage Risk Adjustment Data Analyst
GeBBS Consulting, a leader in Healthcare Technology solutions, has an immediate opening for a Senior Data Analyst with experience in Risk Adjustment related to Medicare Advantage (Part C) to support a major health plan partner. This is a fully remote opportunity.
Position Description:
The Senior Data Analyst will support the health plan’s Quality, Stars, and Risk Adjustment Analytics team in developing analytical reports and data visualizations using Power BI and SQL. They will focus on Risk Adjustment related to the Medicare Advantage (Part C) population. Additional tools will include Alteryx and Microsoft Fabric.
What You’ll Get to Do:
• Engage in data exploration using SQL and Power BI, utilizing advanced knowledge of multiple database structures.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data on the health plan’s Medicare Advantage member population to glean insights, and develop business appropriate recommendations.
• Serve as an expert resource supporting data questions and issues from stakeholders and driving to resolution.
• Research and analyze data flow across complex data ecosystem including operational and analytical data platforms.
• Manage the collection of business and technical requirements from stakeholders to deliver data driven solution. Produces and reviews technical documentation that is consistent with professional standards.
• Lead the design, development, validation and delivery of data to provide insight into business decisions.
• Act as a mentor to the team on data analysis, business intelligence, and data visualization as needed.
You’ll Bring these Qualifications:
• 8+ years of overall Data Analysis (some flexibility for qualified candidates).
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or related field (note: an additional 4 years of overall experience may be substituted for Bachelor’s degree).
• 3+ years of experience creating analytical reports and data visualizations on HC payer data related to Risk Adjustment.
• 1+ year of experience creating analytical reports and data visualizations on Medicare Advantage data related to Risk Adjustment.
• 4+ years of experience working with SQL and Power BI.
