Role: Assortment Planner β North America (Contract)
Location: Beaverton, OR (Onsite at PHK | Fridays Work from Home)
Duration: 9 Weeks + 5 Days Contract (High Possibility of Extension)
Position Overview
:We are seeking an Assortment Planner to support the North America Planning team during a leave coverage assignment. This role will play a critical part in driving inventory, sales, and assortment planning strategies while supporting product forecasting, pricing, and inventory management activities
.The ideal candidate will have prior retail planning experience, strong analytical skills, advanced Excel capabilities, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights. This position offers an opportunity to work within a highly collaborative planning environment while owning key planning processes and business reporting initiatives
.
Key Responsibilitie
s Support product forecasting and pricing processes through reporting, data analysis, and actionable business recommendation
β’ s.Create, maintain, and enhance reporting tools used across the planning organizatio
β’ n.Analyze weekly business performance and report forecast variance
β’ s.Manage weekly markdown processes and ensure alignment with business stakeholder
β’ s.Monitor product pricing across the marketplace and portfolio to support pricing strategie
β’ s.Support monthly and seasonal inventory planning activitie
β’ s.Manage product lifecycle activities, including close-out processes and aging inventory managemen
β’ t.Develop and maintain sales, inventory, and assortment plan
β’ s.Conduct weekly business reviews, buyer reviews, and future planning activitie
β’ s.Present forecasts, business performance updates, and strategic recommendations to cross-functional team
β’ s.Collaborate with merchandising, planning, and business partners to drive profitable and consumer-focused assortment strategie
β’ s.Communicate financial results, forecasts, and action plans to stakeholders on a regular basi
