MES Techno-Functional SME

Position Summary We are looking for an experienced MES Techno-Functional SME to support the implementation, enhancement, and integration of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with manufacturing, quality, production, and IT teams to gather business requirements, configure MES solutions, support integrations, and ensure smooth production operations. The role requires a combination of functional manufacturing knowledge and technical expertise to deliver scalable MES solutions and provide post-implementation support. Key Responsibilities Functional Responsibilities • Gather and analyze business requirements from manufacturing and production teams. • Conduct fit-gap analysis and prepare functional design documents. • Configure MES modules based on business requirements. • Support production execution and shop floor processes. • Collaborate with business users to improve manufacturing workflows. • Conduct solution walkthroughs and user training sessions. • Prepare process documentation and user guides. • Support go-live activities and post-production support. Manufacturing Execution • Production Order Execution • Work Order Processing • Shop Floor Control • WIP Tracking • Labor Tracking • Machine Data Collection • Production Reporting • Material Consumption • Equipment Monitoring • Lot & Serial Number Tracking Integration & Technical Responsibilities • Support MES integration with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.). • Assist in API and interface development using REST/SOAP. • Validate data exchanges between MES and enterprise applications. • Troubleshoot integration and production issues. • Perform SQL queries for data validation and reporting. • Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, and regression testing. • Monitor interface jobs and resolve data issues. Reporting • Develop production and operational reports. • Analyze manufacturing KPIs and production metrics. • Support dashboard creation using reporting tools. • Generate inventory, quality, and production reports.
