Our client is looking for a Metadata Analyst who be responsible for analyzing and reviewing results from automated scans that tag PII in PACCAR data sources. Your primary focus will be to ensure that the tagging is accurate and appropriate, aligning with regulatory requirements and organizational policies. Additionally, you will prepare data jobs for ingestion into our workflow tool, import final results into our data catalog, and conduct audits of program records to maintain compliance and data integrity. WHAT YOU GET TO DO • Analyze and review results from automated scans to identify and validate PII within PACCAR data sources. • Ensure that PII tagging is accurate, appropriate, and compliant with regulatory requirements and organizational policies. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any discrepancies or issues identified during the review process. • Prepare data jobs for ingestion into our workflow tool, ensuring proper configuration and documentation. • Import final results from automated scans into our data catalog, maintaining metadata accuracy and consistency. • Conduct audits of program records, including metadata, documentation, and compliance artifacts, to ensure completeness and accuracy. • Utilize Acryl Data for data workflows, tagging, and auditing tasks, leveraging 2-3 years of hands-on experience with the platform. • Utilize Snowflake, with at least some exposure and working knowledge, for data management tasks; experience with other big data tools is a plus. • Demonstrate a "can do" attitude and collaborative mindset while working closely with the team. • Ensure appropriate documentation of tagging processes, workflow configurations, and audit findings. • Utilize data management tools and platforms, such as data catalogs, workflow tools, and metadata repositories, proficiently to support information governance activities. WHAT YOU BRING • Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Data Management, or related field preferred or commensurate professional experience. • 2-3 years of solid hands-on experience with Acryl Data, specifically in data workflows, tagging, and auditing. • Working knowledge of Snowflake, with exposure and experience in using the platform for data management tasks; familiarity with other big data tools is a plus. • Proficiency in tagging methodologies, workflow tools, and conducting audits to ensure data integrity and compliance. Must be able to work for a US based company without requiring visa sponsorship. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS • Hourly range is $30/hr - $35/hr based on shift, experience and qualifications, as well as geographical market and business considerations.
