Role description
Title: Fractional Microsoft 365 & Power BI Consultant (Ongoing / Part-Time)
•
• No calls. No recruiters or employment agencies.
•
• About the Role
We are a small, collaborative, international team with providing service, sales and leadership training to large multinational tech and industrial companies, and we are looking for a high-quality Microsoft 365 & Power BI consultant to support us on an ongoing, part-time basis.
This is not a full-time position. We’re looking for a long-term partner—someone who can step in as needed for development work, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
If you enjoy working closely with small teams and making a measurable impact, this role is a great fit.
What You’ll Do
• Design and build Power BI dashboards that support trainers, trainees and principals and drive business decisions
• Design and build client reports on quantitative and qualitative training outcomes
• Develop and optimize data models (DAX, Power Query)
• Integrate data across sources (SQL, APIs, Microsoft ecosystem)
• Support and enhance Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate, Power Apps)
• Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support
• Translate business needs into practical, scalable solutions
What We’re Looking For
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, modeling, performance tuning)
• Solid experience across the Microsoft 365 / Power Platform ecosystem
• Comfortable working directly with stakeholders (not just executing tickets)
• Experience supporting clients or teams beyond initial delivery
• Strong communication and reliability
Engagement
• Part-time / fractional (estimated 5–20 hours/month to start)
• Ongoing relationship (not a one-off project)
• Flexible schedule, but must be reasonably responsive
• Open to hourly or retainer-based structure
What Makes This Role Different
• You’ll work directly with decision-makers
• Your input will shape how we use data, not just how it’s built
• We value long-term collaboration over short-term execution
How to Apply
Please include:
• Examples of Power BI work (with context, not just screenshots)
• A brief description of how you support clients on an ongoing basis
• Your preferred engagement model (hourly or retainer)
We’re specifically looking for someone who wants to build a long-term working relationship, not just complete isolated tasks.
