Optomi, in partnership with a leading organization, is seeking a Microsoft 365 Power Platform Developer for a remote 6-month contract opportunity. This role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing business solutions using Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform suite—including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, secure, and efficient solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low-code development and business process automation, with a passion for innovation and optimization.

Experience of the right candidate:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience working within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Expertise in building low-code/no-code solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Proven experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Experience with AI-driven tools like Copilot Studio for agent/chatbot development.
• Strong knowledge of SharePoint development and Power Platform integration.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) and API integrations.
• Experience with Azure automation and M365 service management.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Microsoft Power Platform certifications.
• Understanding of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) for Power Platform.
• Experience in performance optimization, security hardening, and automated deployments.
• Background supporting and scaling enterprise M365 environments.
• Familiarity with CoE (Center of Excellence) practices for Power Platform.
Responsibilities of the right candidate:
• Design, develop, and maintain custom business applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable digital solutions.
• Conduct testing, peer code reviews, and implement UI/UX best practices.
• Automate manual processes and streamline business operations using M365 tools.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings across M365 services.
• Lead CoE events, trainings, and support adoption of Power Platform across the organization.
• Create and maintain documentation for all developed solutions.
• Stay current with M365 trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
