Job Title- Microsoft Azure infra lead Interview Mode-Phone/Video Visa-NO GC Location- Frederick- MD Fully Onsite Day One • We are looking for a capable and experienced Cloud & DevOps Lead, who is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes. This role will lead a team of engineers to establish automation practices, streamline CI/CD pipelines, ensure system reliability, and drive innovation through modern cloud-native solutions. The Cloud & DevOps Lead will collaborate closely with software development, IT, and security teams to deliver robust, efficient, and cost-optimized cloud operations Key Responsibilities Cloud Infrastructure Management Architect, deploy, and manage scalable cloud environments - Azure Oversee infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform & Ansible Optimize cloud performance, cost, and reliability across environments. Implement infrastructure security best practices and compliance controls. DevOps Strategy & Implementation Define and implement DevOps strategy, tools, and frameworks. Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps. Drive automation across deployment, testing, and monitoring processes. Ensure seamless integration of development and operations teams. Leadership & Team Management Lead, mentor, and upskill a team of cloud and DevOps engineers. Define goals, performance metrics, and best practices for the DevOps function. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and technical excellence. Security & Compliance Ensure systems comply with organizational security policies and regulatory standards (e.g., SOC2, ISO27001). Collaborate with InfoSec teams to manage identity, access, and data protection. Implement observability, monitoring, and incident response processes. Continuous Improvement Evaluate and introduce emerging cloud and DevOps technologies. Drive efficiency, scalability, and reliability through automation and innovation. Participate in capacity planning, disaster recovery, and system resilience initiatives Technical Skills Excellent working knowledge in Azure Cloud. Good knowledge on the DevOps process and practises. Excellent understanding on IT Infrastructure and Cloud Development. Excellent understanding on software and engineering design practises.
