Data Scientist I - Data Science & Machine Learning Work Location: Milan, IL USA 61264 Location: Quad Cities Area, Des Moines or Waterloo (please indicate on resume which locations candidate is open to) Position Title Microsoft Power Platform Developer Specific Position Requirements Position is highly likely to extend Bill Rate: Max 85/hr; based on experience Position Title: Power Platform & Copilot Studio Developer Position Overview: We are seeking a contingent developer to join our AI Business Transformation team. This role will focus on designing, building, and deploying automation solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform suite—including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Copilot Studio Agents. The ideal candidate will help accelerate digital transformation across frontline workflows and internal operations. Responsibilities: • Build automation flows with Power Automate to streamline manual processes • Create custom applications using Power Apps to support operational efficiency • Develop intelligent agents using Copilot Studio for targeted business use cases • Design and implement Generative AI models and systems tailored to business needs. • Stay current with emerging trends in AI, machine learning, and data science. • Lead end-to-end development of AI solutions—from data ingestion to model deployment. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions • Participate in periodic reviews and demos to showcase solution impact • Document development processes and maintain solution integrity across environments Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools • Familiarity with Copilot Studio and conversational AI agent design • Proven experience in developing and deploying AI solutions in a business environment. • Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or similar frameworks. • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps practices. • Experience with low-code/no-code development environments • Strong understanding of data flows, API integration, and automation logic • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Contract Details: • Travel Requirement: Domestic travel up to 10%
