MicroStrategy Developer Location: Stoke‑on‑Trent (eligible for hybrid working) Role Type: Fixed Term Closing Date: 10/09/2025 Overview As a MicroStrategy Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining reporting solutions that underpin the Data Distribution and Analytics department. You will work as part of a highly skilled team, developing and maintaining critical and complex reporting systems. The role involves understanding the intricacies of our data and identifying the most efficient ways to extract and transform it. We are looking for individuals with deep MicroStrategy expertise who can push the boundaries of what the products can achieve, always striving for faster, simpler, and more robust solutions. Preferred Skills & Experience • Extensive commercial experience with MicroStrategy • Strong data profiling, visualization, and analysis skills • Ability to break down complex requirements into simple solutions • Extremely methodical with a strong attention to detail • Ability to work to deadlines in a continually changing and reactive environment • Knowledge of performance monitoring and query tuning • Strong communication skills • Experience working with large and complex datasets is desirable • Commercial experience working with BigQuery, MicroStrategy, GIT, and JIRA is desirable What You Will Do • Deliver high-quality reporting and data extracts to the business • Develop reporting solutions that process, aggregate, and reconcile vast amounts of data into highly optimized solutions • Develop an in-depth and detailed knowledge of the business data and KPIs • Analyze and troubleshoot poorly performing queries, reports, procedures, and batch jobs • Work alongside other team members on multi-developer projects • Conduct QA to ensure code is both accurate and performant • Suggest and implement improvements to streamline existing processes • Develop solutions in line with departmental standards • Take responsibility for the creation and maintenance of relevant documentation Employee Perks • Bonus Scheme • Matched pension contribution • Eye care and flu vaccinations • Life assurance
