Role description
Remote - US | Contract An AI-focused startup currently in stealth mode is seeking a Mid-Senior Python/TensorFlow Developer to help build advanced AI-powered enterprise software solutions. This is a ground-floor opportunity to join a founding team and work on core AI/ML capabilities using the latest in AI-augmented tools and practices. The team operates with a deep integration of AI in the development workflow and is looking for someone who already embraces AI tools as a core part of their daily development process. This is a long-term contract opportunity with no predetermined end date. The engagement is fully remote with very occasional travel to Buenos Aires for team-building events. The candidate can be located anywhere in Latin America. A slight preference will be given to candidates located in Argentina. You'll need to have good English communication skills (at least B2+ or higher) for this role. Responsibilities: Develop and deploy machine learning systems using Python and TensorFlow Build and optimize AI/ML capabilities within production environments Work within an Azure AI partner environment and manage Azure AI infrastructure as needed Leverage AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude) as an active, daily part of your workflow. Accelerate development while maintaining code quality and architectural standards. Collaborate with the founding team on product architecture and AI/ML development priorities Experience & Technical Requirements: Expert-level Python development with production ML systems experience Hands-on TensorFlow experience, including model training, deployment, and optimization Experience with Azure AI infrastructure is strongly preferred Ability to work at AI-augmented speed without compromising quality or architecture Proven track record of shipping production ML applicationsβ€”not just notebook experiments Nice to Have: Experience with Azure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI Service, or other Azure AI services Background in enterprise SaaS product development Full-stack capabilities (React, Node.js) TensorFlow.js experience Important Notes: Using AI coding as part of your daily workflow is non-negotiable for this role.
