Only looking for candidates who can work on W2 Strictly no C2C or third-party vendors Job Title: ML Operations Specialist – FinTech Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid – 3 Days/Week Onsite) Rate: $90–$95/hr About the Role A leading FinTech company is seeking a highly experienced ML Operations (MLOps) Specialist to join their growing team in Phoenix, AZ. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in machine learning engineering, cloud infrastructure, and end-to-end MLOps practices. You will be responsible for building, deploying, and managing advanced ML solutions in production, while also mentoring technical teams and ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable workflows. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design, implementation, and support of end-to-end machine learning workflows. • Manage and mentor technical employees, including data scientists and ML engineers. • Develop and deploy ML models into production environments with tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or similar platforms. • Drive best practices in CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-native deployments. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready real-time models. • Optimize data pipelines and distributed computing frameworks for performance and scalability. • Ensure compliance with software architecture, security, and data governance standards. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • 12+ years of experience in Data Science, ML Engineering, or MLOps. • 5+ years of experience managing highly technical staff. • Expert programming skills in Python with strong knowledge of ML/DS frameworks. • Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and architecture. • Proven track record deploying models into production environments. • Strong background with hybrid (On-Prem/Cloud) environments. • Proficiency in Hadoop, Hive, Cloudera. • Experience with Scala/Java and modern distributed computing technologies such as Apache Spark. Preferred Skills • Strong understanding of real-time ML systems and large-scale data management. • Ability to design and optimize scalable ML solutions in a FinTech or high-transaction environment. • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a track record of delivering business-focused ML solutions. Interview Process • 1 Internal Round • 1–2 Client Technical Interviews Location: Phoenix, AZ (local candidates preferred due to 3 days/week onsite requirement).
