MLOps Engineer

This role is strictly open to individual 1099 contractors based in the U.S. Agencies and C2C inquiries are not welcome. Resourceful initiative This role may require you to • Design, build, and maintain automated machine learning pipelines and components for model training, testing, deployment, and monitoring using industry-standard MLOps tools and cloud platforms • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to ensure models are production-ready and efficiently integrated into operational systems • Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for deployed models to ensure performance and reliability • Automate model retraining, versioning, and deployment processes • Implement CI/CD processes for ML models and data workflows • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize ML pipelines and infrastructure for scalability and robustness • Document source code, architectural designs, research, development plans, and engineering standards to enable solution modularity, reproducibility, portability, collaboration, and knowledge sharing • Collaborate with teammates using Slack, Google Meet, and/or other software An ideal candidate has • A publicly accessible portfolio of MLOps or ML pipeline projects (e.g., on GitHub or similar) • Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) • Experience with MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, or similar) • Experience with major cloud service providers (GCP, AWS, Azure) and their related MLOps platforms (Vertex AI, SageMaker, Azure Machine Learning) • Familiarity with containerization/orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) • Experience using Git-based version control in a team setting • Effective modular thinking skills evidenced by the ability to break down large, intricate undertakings into a series of smaller self-contained tasks • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Emotional intelligence and coachability All details of this job description are subject to change at any time, at the sole discretion of MyDataProduct.
