Role description
JustinBradley’s client, an expert in securitization and technology in the housing finance market, is seeking an experienced Modeling & Analytics Operations Lead to join their Modeling and Analytics team in support of a Bond Administration application. This role is ideal for a dynamic, self-motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working at the intersection of operations, analytics, and financial modeling. The Modeling & Analytics Operations Lead will play a key role in maintaining bond payment models, troubleshooting payment variances, and supporting ongoing system enhancements and defect resolution. This individual will work closely with internal teams, product owners, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate bond administration, reporting, and process optimization. This role is 100% remote, must work EST hours. Responsibilities: β€’ Reverse engineer, document, and maintain deal-level payment rules used to calculate multi-class securitization factors and bond payments β€’ Onboard new securities and deals to support bond administration, bond disclosure, and IRS tax calculations and reporting β€’ Analyze and troubleshoot bond payment differences, identifying root causes and proposing solutions β€’ Participate in regular status meetings with clients and key stakeholders to provide updates and address issues β€’ Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to identify, recommend, and implement system and process improvement opportunities β€’ Develop queries, analyses, and reports from internal applications to support operational and management needs β€’ Define requirements and specifications for reporting or analytical work performed by other teams β€’ Lead and/or participate in testing, validation, and user acceptance of newly developed platform functionality Qualifications: β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, a technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience β€’ Minimum of 7 years of total professional experience, including at least 3 years of related experience within the Mortgage-Backed Securities industry β€’ Strong knowledge of MBS products and the housing finance industry β€’ Advanced analytical and technical skill set, including: β€’ SQL β€’ VBA β€’ C++ (or similar programming languages) β€’ Advanced Excel formulas and functions β€’ Experience with Intex or similar financial modeling software is a plus β€’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly β€’ Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment JustinBradley is an EO employer - Veterans/Disabled and other protected employees.
