We have an opening with a great client of ours and we are looking for a MUOS Software DSP Engineer to work in Scottsdale, AZ. This is a contract to hire position, and you must be a US Citizen to apply. Required: US Citizenship and Residency, W2 hourly Contract Only, No 1099, No third parties, no C2C. No exceptions (Sorry)
Pay: $60 to $67/hr. D.O.E. β Must Be Clearable, Secret Clearance Preferred
MUOS SOFTWARE DSP ENGINEER
As a Space Force MUOS DSP Engineer in the Space, Cyber & Intelligence Systems business area, youβll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for development and test of specialized solutions that are used by our warfighters worldwide on patrol in hostile environments, whether urban, canyon, mountains, or jungles β or even the Arctic Circle. The system provides a familiar cellular phone-like service, allowing forces on the ground to communicate directly with others at higher levels of quality and much greater capacity than available through the current system. Not only do we maintain the current live system, but you will help add new capabilities, enhancements and replaces end of life components.
Preferred Skills or Experiences
β’ Knowledge of DSP and communications theory
β’ Signals and Systems, FFTs, FIR filters, convolution, correlation, etc.
β’ Communications or modem design and development
β’ C/C++ and MATLAB, NumPy, Python, Gnu Radio or X-MIDAS
β’ High performance computing
β’ High speed (100G+) networking, switch setup, selecting switch, NIC and transceiver components
β’ IP networking, DPDK and MPI
β’ Linux system administration, server set up and tuning for DSP
β’ USRP hardware
β’ Spectrum analyzer measurements

EDUCATION REQUIRMENT

β’ Agile experience preferred
Must Be Clearable, Secret Clearance Preferred
