Role description
We are searching for a Nexxus Dashboard Enterprise Engineer to join the team! This position is hybrid in Atlanta, Dallas or NYC.
6-month contract-to-hire, eligible for full benefits.
Overview:
The Nexxus Dashboard Enterprise Engineer will own end-to-end responsibility for the configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of Nexxus Dashboard (Single and Multisite configurations). This role is part of an aggressive project pipeline and requires individuals who can deliver immediate results in a hands-on environment. It is not suitable for candidates seeking theoretical exposure or on-the-job learning.

• Immediate, practical expertise with Nexxus Dashboard required; must be ready to contribute from day one
• Salary up to $180K for qualified candidates
• Hybrid role (onsite and remote); 100% remote arrangement is not available at this compensation level
Primary Responsibilities
• Design, engineer, and deliver scalable network systems and Nexxus Dashboard solutions.
• Lead the evaluation, testing, selection, and deployment of network elements for enterprise network buildouts.
• Ensure adherence to, or support development of, networking standards and best practices.
• Create and communicate engineering solutions via comprehensive high- and low-level diagrams.
• Analyze, test, retest, and troubleshoot complex issues related to Nexxus Dashboard and supporting technologies.
• Excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment as both an individual contributor and team leader.
• Effectively transfer knowledge, share documentation, and maintain awareness of new technologies and techniques.
• Provide advanced technical input for critical projects, including subsystem upgrades and strategic improvements.
• Design, plan, and implement highly complex enterprise networks.
• Gather and analyze requirements, develop specifications, and define network architectures.
• Develop network testing, validation, and integration plans, ensuring network integrity and reliability.
• Act as a subject matter expert, supporting Solutioning and Sales teams during customer engagements.
• Mentor junior engineers in advanced data center and Nexxus Dashboard deployments.
• Manage time effectively across multiple concurrent projects.
• Assist in the creation of Statements of Work (SoW) and Level of Effort (LoE) documentation.
Education & Experience
• 10+ years of professional experience in enterprise or carrier networking
• Professional certifications such as CCNP/CCIE (or equivalent) preferred
• Extensive experience with Cisco, especially in the datacenter portfolio
• Familiarity with Arista and Juniper technologies strongly desired
• Prior consulting experience required
Required Technical Skills & Qualifications
• Deep understanding of the OSI model, routing/switching protocols, network security, IPv4 networking, subnetting, and operational best practices
• Proven ability to lead customer-facing technical discussions with confidence
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Hands-on expertise in creating and delivering technical demonstrations
• Operational experience with Cisco IOS-XE and NX-OS: VPC, VSS, VRF, BGP, OSPF
• Direct experience with Nexxus Dashboard deployment and troubleshooting (Single and Multisite scenarios)
• Skilled in VxLAN and EVPN data center networking design and implementation
• Experience with automation and scripting tools used to deploy and maintain modern network environments
