NLP Engineer

Title: NLP Engineer Industry: Technology / AI / Data Location: Atlanta Metro Area, GA Responsibilities: • Design and develop NLP and large language model solutions • Fine tune foundation models for business specific use cases • Develop text classification, summarization, entity recognition, and semantic search capabilities • Build retrieval augmented generation pipelines and prompt engineering strategies • Evaluate model performance and optimize accuracy • Create scalable APIs and inference pipelines for production deployments • Partner with software engineers and data scientists throughout the development lifecycle • Document models, experiments, and technical best practices Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Linguistics, or a related field • 3+ years of experience developing NLP solutions • Strong proficiency in Python • Experience with Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, or similar NLP frameworks • Experience working with large language models, vector databases, and embedding techniques • Knowledge of PyTorch or TensorFlow • Familiarity with cloud based AI services • Excellent analytical and communication skills Hourly range is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by WorkGenius.
