Role description
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop backend services using Node.js to consume and process real-time events from Apache Kafka and other sources.
Integrate LLMs (Google Gemini) to generate contextual knowledge suggestions and summaries.
Build and maintain a UI widget that presents live knowledge assistance to CC agents.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, UX, and QA to deliver a seamless and intelligent agent experience.
Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of the solution in a production environment.
Required Skills:
Strong experience with Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript.
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
Experience integrating with LLM APIs (e.g., Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).
Proficiency in frontend development (React.js or similar frameworks).
Familiarity with real-time communication (WebSockets, SSE).
Understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native development.
