Role description
Position - NOSQL Data Engineer / DBA
Location – Seattle-WA
Duration: 12 + Months contract
Rate - DOE
US Citizen, Green Card, TN, GC EAD, and H4 EAD only. No Third-party agencies, Corp to Corp
The role requires a multifaceted data technologist—someone who can support NoSQL, relational, caching, and streaming technologies, and who brings a flexible software engineering mindset
Responsibilities:
• Manage and optimize NoSQL and relational databases.
• Implement and support caching and streaming solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve database issues.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable data systems.
• Ensure high availability, security, and performance of data platforms.
Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Couchbase, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.).
• Scripting/programming skills (Python, Shell, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving and performance-tuning skills.
