Role description
Job Title: O365 Architect Location: Remote (Periodic visits to principal contractor / client offices in Rockville or Gaithersburg, Maryland will be required to attend meetings) Duration: 12+ months Note: USC only Job Description: Microsoft Architect/Subject Matter Expert The subcontractor must be an expert in M365 Power Platform Development - Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate (Canvas apps and Dataverse), Power Pages and Power BI.
Must have experience serving as Tier 2 support when issues are escalated from Tier 1
Must have expertise w/ Microsoft CoPilot
Must have expertise with Teams, Stream, Forms, Planner and Delve.
Must have knowledge and understanding of standard change management procedures using Atlassian Jira and Bitbucket.
Must have experience with Azure services like Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps
Must be a great collaborator among other contractor support teams.
Must have experience with security configurations of these M365 platforms.
The Subcontractor shall provide the services that include, but not limited to:
Performs complex and advanced architecture work in design, evaluation, planning, testing and operation in support of system development, engineering analysis and research.
Leads in the integration of processes and methodologies to ensure the performance of the total system.
Works directly with senior technical personnel, program managers, and external organizations in the planning, oversight, execution, and evaluation of multiple complex technical solutions related to a program's system and technical product development.
Provide architectural design of visualization Dashboards, Reports and Apps using power BI Desktop and Services Platform, SharePoint Plugins. Dataverse and SSRS reporting tool.
Work with Power Platform stakeholders to identify changes that need to be made on their individual systems.
Designing and implementing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies
Create new, maintain existing and assist customers with creating interactive, immersive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI
Perform impact analysis on the change request and estimate the LOE.
Modify the system and conduct testing to ensure the change meets requirements.
Review system data structures, customer requirements, application format and functionality, as well as recommend improvements, enhancements and/or changes to the systems, provide analytics, and maintain technical Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Create and maintain an upgrade plan of all software necessary to operate the system and upgrade the system components in accordance with the plan.
Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot Power Platform components
Integrate systems and convert data; Build Power Apps; Automate processes; Build Power BI reports and build Power Pages to connect them to Dataverse for data storage and management and integrate with other Power Platform components.
Must have strong communication skills, both orally and written.
Must provide complete documentation of required services, including relevant SOP's.
Must meet client security and compliance requirements.
SKILLS For labor category qualifications - Minimum Bachelor's degree with at least 15 years of technical and related experience in:
SharePoint Online Developer and SharePoint Server 2013
Microsoft Power Apps, OneDrive, Power Automate, Power Pages and Power BI.
Strong experience with models driven apps
SharePoint Plugins and SSRS reporting tool
SharePoint content and site migrations.
Microsoft SQL Server 2016
