Role description
An OCI Oracle Fusion Techno-Functional Consultant bridges technical development with business processes, implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM/SCM modules. They specialize in OIC integrations, SQL/PLSQL, reporting (BI Publisher/OTBI), and OCI services to optimize system functionality, troubleshoot issues, and deliver technical solutions in Fusion Cloud.
Key Responsibilities
• Functional Configuration: Configure Oracle Fusion modules (e.g., Financials, HCM, SCM) based on business requirements.
• Technical Development: Design and develop extensions, customizations, and complex reports (OTBI, BI Publisher).
• Integrations: Develop, test, and deploy integrations between Oracle SaaS and third-party applications using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), FBDI, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Support & Troubleshooting: Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and functional issues, including data errors, system performance, and patch testing.
• Data Migration: Manage data migration activities using data loaders (HDL, FBL, FBDI).
• Security & Compliance: Configure application security, roles, and user access.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud), and API development.
• Functional Knowledge: Deep understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud modules (e.g., Finance, SCM, Procurement).
• Reporting Tools: Proficiency in BI Publisher, OTBI, and potentially OAC/FAW.
• Experience: Usually 5–10+ years in Oracle ERP implementations, with specific experience in SaaS/PaaS environments.
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI):Experience with OCI services, security (IAM), and architecture.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
