Location & Work Mode: Fully Remote (Brentwood, TN preferred)
Job Description
An IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) Developer designs, builds, and maintains business rule engines and decision services. They translate business policies into executable code using Decision Center and Rule Designer, integrate the rules into enterprise applications, and optimize decision tables for automated system execution.
Responsibilities
• Design & Authoring: Create rule projects, decision tables, decision trees, and business rule flows.
• Integration: Connect ODM decision services with enterprise applications (Java EE, Spring Boot) via REST/SOAP APIs in GCP environment.
• Collaboration: Partner with Business Analysts to ensure rule requirements are accurate and aligned with organizational policies.
• Testing & Deployment: Test, debug, and deploy decision services within the Decision Center and Rule Execution Server (RES) environments
Key Qualifications & Skills
• Core Languages: Strong proficiency in Java and J2EE technologies.
• ODM Experience: Minimum 5–10 years of hands-on experience with IBM ODM.
• Databases: Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle, SQL, Spanner), and Google Cloud environments.
• Tools: CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab), version control (Git, bitbucket), and Agile project management tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Methodology: Knowledge of ABRD (Agile Business Rule Development) methodology.
