Job Title: Wiz Engineer Location: On Site at Milpitas CA, Plano TX, RTP NC, Brunswick, NJ (must go into an office 5 days a week) Duration: 12+ Months Contract The Wiz Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, administering, and optimizing the full spectrum of the Wiz platform across enterprise cloud environments. The engineer will support core capabilities including CNAPP, cloud security posture management, vulnerability management, identity and exposure analysis, and AI security. The engineer can work across multiple cloud platforms to strengthen cloud security posture, maintain platform health, drive remediation, and support secure AI deployments through governance, security design, red teaming, and protection of AI systems and models. Key Responsibilities • Perform and initial risk assessment to determine health of cloud security/ wiz platform • Implement, configure, administer, and continuously optimize the Wiz platform across multi-cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. • Manage ongoing platform operations including updates, patching, policy tuning, platform health checks, and configuration remediation. • Monitor and improve cloud security posture by identifying misconfigurations, excessive permissions, exposed assets, and vulnerabilities, and driving prioritized remediation. • Support vulnerability management activities across cloud workloads, containers, identities, and connected services using risk-based analysis and attack-path context. • Troubleshoot complex issues related to CSPM, CNAPP, vulnerability scanning, integrations, and multi-cloud security operations. • Develop automation workflows and AI-driven operational enhancements to scale security support, improve efficiency, and reduce manual effort. • Partner with cloud, platform, DevSecOps, and engineering teams to integrate Wiz findings into remediation workflows, operational processes, and security governance. • Support secure AI deployment initiatives through AI security design, AI governance, AI red teaming, and security controls for AI systems, models, and data pipelines. • Provide recommendations for security enhancements, hardening opportunities, and best practices to improve resilience across cloud and AI environments. • Maintain documentation, dashboards, and reporting related to cloud risk, remediation status, and platform performance. Required Qualifications • Hands-on experience with the Wiz platform, including CNAPP, CSPM, vulnerability management, and exposure analysis capabilities. • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, with experience securing multi-cloud environments. • Experience troubleshooting cloud security posture, vulnerability scanning, and platform integration issues. • Understanding of IAM, cloud networking, workload security, containers, and cloud-native architectures. • Experience developing automation using scripting or workflow tools to improve security operations at scale. • Ability to analyze security findings, prioritize remediation, and communicate technical recommendations clearly to stakeholders. • Familiarity with AI security concepts, including AI governance, AI model security, AI red teaming, and secure deployment practices. Preferred Qualifications • Experience integrating Wiz with ticketing, SIEM, SOAR, CI/CD, or DevSecOps workflows. • Knowledge of compliance and security frameworks such as CIS, NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, or similar standards. • Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud transformation or AI-enabled application environments.
