Role description
We are looking for a senior Siemens Opcenter Developer to support manufacturing execution systems (MES) within a battery plant environment. This role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining Opcenter-based solutions to support logistics, production workflows, and plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, configure, and enhance Siemens Opcenter (MES) solutions.
• Customize workflows, data models, and configurations to meet manufacturing and logistics requirements.
• Support integration of Opcenter with upstream and downstream enterprise systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to MES applications.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability in high-volume environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and IT.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support, including potential off-hours support if required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Siemens Opcenter (MES) or similar MES platforms.
• Experience with Siemens Opcenter modules (preferably EXDS / Logistics).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing execution systems (MES), logistics, and plant operations.
• Hands-on experience configuring and developing Opcenter solutions (not limited to functional/BA roles).
• Experience with system integrations, APIs, and data exchange between enterprise systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in battery manufacturing, automotive, or large-scale manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with industrial systems and plant floor integrations.
• Exposure to cloud or hybrid architectures.
• Experience supporting global or multi-site manufacturing operations.
