Title: OpenShift Cloud Engineer Location: Teaneck, NJ (Hybrid) Top Skills Required β€’ Openshift β€’ GCP β€’ Azure Job Description: β€’ Deploy, configure, and manage OpenShift clusters, including version upgrades, patching, and scaling. β€’ Deploy, scale, and manage containerized applications on OpenShift using tools like the oc CLI and OpenShift Console. CI/CD Integration β€’ Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments, often integrating with tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions. β€’ Monitoring & Performance Optimization: β€’ Configure and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) for both Azure/GCP and OpenShift, ensuring high availability and system reliability. β€’ Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex issues related to the OpenShift platform and containerized applications. Security Implementation β€’ Implement security best practices, user access control (RBAC), and security policies within the OpenShift environment. β€’ Develop and maintain IaC using tools like Terraform to automate the provisioning and configuration of GCP resources. β€’ Windows Server administration β€’ Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure applications are designed for scalability and adhere to best practices. β€’ Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and runbooks. β€’ Manage the lifecycle of control plane and worker nodes, including upgrades and certificate management.
