Role description
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Developer β OpenShift Virtualization
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for OpenShift Virtualization using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
1. Automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of OpenShift clusters and virtualized workloads.
1. Develop and maintain reusable IaC modules and playbooks for consistent and scalable deployments.
1. Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams to integrate OpenShift Virtualization with CI/CD pipelines.
1. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize virtualized workloads and infrastructure for performance and reliability.
1. Ensure compliance with security and governance policies in all IaC implementations.
1. Document processes, configurations, and best practices for IaC and OpenShift Virtualization.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Minimum 7 + year experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
1. Minimum 3 + year hands-on experience with OpenShift Virtualization and Kubernetes.
1. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.
1. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments.
1. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD, etc.).
1. Strong understanding of networking, storage, and virtualization concepts.
1. Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
1. Knowledge of security best practices for containerized and virtualized environments.
1. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
