Role description
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced OpenShift Developer to support the design, implementation, and ongoing management of containerized platforms in a large-scale enterprise environment. This role involves working across infrastructure, platform engineering, and application teams to ensure stable, secure, and scalable deployments. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Develop and maintain container platforms using OpenShift and Kubernetes. β€’ Perform Linux administration tasks including system setup, configuration, and issue resolution. β€’ Manage virtual environments leveraging technologies such as KVM, VMware, or similar solutions. β€’ Oversee Kubernetes components including workloads, services, routing, and namespace management. β€’ Support networking configurations, including DNS, load balancing, and container network troubleshooting. β€’ Handle storage provisioning and management within Kubernetes environments. β€’ Apply security best practices, including access controls, secrets management, and platform hardening. β€’ Monitor cluster performance and reliability using logs, metrics, and alerting tools. β€’ Contribute to CI/CD pipeline setup and ongoing enhancements for deployment automation. β€’ Automate routine operational activities using scripting or configuration management tools. β€’ Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability. Required Skills & Qualifications: β€’ Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms β€’ Proficiency in Linux system administration β€’ Experience with virtualization technologies such as KVM and VMware (including NSX) β€’ Understanding of container networking, storage, and security concepts β€’ Experience supporting or executing platform migrations β€’ Scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) and familiarity with tools like Ansible β€’ Exposure to CI/CD tools and deployment automation practices
