Role description
OpenText Exstream Developer - East Coast Project Duration: 1 Year Location: Preferred location is the East Coast, with the West Coast and Central regions as secondary options. Contract Responsibilities: β€’ You'll develop, test, debug and implement code for existing and/or new applications and/or systems. β€’ You'll implement automated unit and integration testing of applications/solutions. β€’ You will embrace best software engineering practices and help onboard our applications onto a Continuous Integration pipeline. β€’ You will work with users and QA to perform Quality Assurance testing of applications and resolves all reported defects/issues. Qualifications: β€’ Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience. β€’ 4 to 5 years’ experience on OT Exstream applications development, and configure them to run on Linux β€’ Scripting using Perl, Knowledge on XML files β€’ Full SDLC development methodologies including Agile methodologies like SCRUM and Kanban. β€’ Has experience with all phases of application programming β€’ Ability to perform code review and refine the code to better performance β€’ Ability to quickly troubleshoot and diagnose issues β€’ Prepare, build and ready the code to deploy β€’ Document the system functionality and transition the knowledge
