Job Summary The Data Analyst is responsible for transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive operational and strategic decision-making. This role requires an exceptional communicator who can clearly explain data, assumptions, and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Power BI for reporting and visualization and Foundry for advanced analytics and data modeling, and is comfortable working across multiple enterprise systems and teams. Key Responsibilities Data Analysis & Insights • Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities for operational and strategic improvements • Demonstrate broad expertise in data processing and analysis, applying analytical techniques to a wide range of business questions • Respond to ad hoc and recurring data requests with accuracy, clarity, and timeliness Data Management & Integration • Collect, clean, validate, and integrate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency • Extract and analyze data from SAP to support planning, forecasting, and decision-making • Manage data extraction and transfer from databases to support operational analysis across teams • Create automated data routines and processes to ensure efficient, repeatable reporting and data delivery Reporting, Visualization & Tools • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI to clearly communicate insights and performance metrics • Utilize Foundry for advanced analytics, data modeling, and analytical workflows • Apply GIS tools for spatial data analysis and mapping to support location-based decision-making • Leverage Copperleaf for asset investment planning, lifecycle cost analysis, and value-based decision support Communication & Collaboration (Core Requirement) • Clearly communicate analytical findings, assumptions, and recommendations to diverse audiences • Translate complex data into concise, compelling narratives that support informed decision-making • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, identify challenges, and deliver data-driven solutions • Act as a trusted partner to stakeholders by helping shape analytical questions and clarify insights Required Skills • Data analytics (Python, Excel, conduct data queries as needed) • Power BI (advanced skills, ability to create executive boards and day-to-day dashboards for business analytics) • SAP • Microsoft Excel and Power Query as needed • Problem-solving mentality • Willingness to learn (Copperleaf, Foundry, GIS, and other platforms) • Impeccable organization skills • Agility • Impeccable communication skills • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining dashboards in Power BI • Strong SQL skills and experience working with structured datasets • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to explain complex data clearly • Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights • Ability to clearly communicate complex data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Experience working in cross-functional teams and translating business needs into data-driven solutions Preferred Skills • Hands-on experience using Foundry for data analysis, data modeling, or workflows • Experience with Copperleaf Benefits • Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans • 401k Retirement Fund Important Notes local candidates only.
