Role description

The Global Operations Group integrates information systems, facilities, supply chain, logistics, and high-volume manufacturing to drive the core of our global business operations. As an Operations Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the operational effectiveness and efficiency of the Global Operations team. By employing analytical methodologies, you will guide decision-makers towards achieving operational excellence. Your contributions will be critical in driving improvements and optimizing processes within the organization.
Qualifications
β’ Required skills: Operations, Excel (Advanced), Power BI, Data Analysis
β’ Preferred Skills: Data Modelling, Workflow Analysis, Corrective Action, Change Management, Root Cause Analysis, Data Governance, Metrics
β’ 1-3 years of experience in operations, focused on extracting and analyzing operational data to generate meaningful insights.
β’ Advanced capability in data analysis tools and software, particularly Excel (including advanced functions such as Pivot Tables and Power Query) and/or Power BI.
β’ Demonstrated ability to be a self-learner, continuously seeking out new knowledge and skills to overcome obstacles and enhance performance.
β’ Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
β’ Demonstrated ability to develop innovative, out-of-the-box solutions to complex business problems.
β’ Basic understanding of business operations and processes.
Responsibilities:
β’ Develop, automate, and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards in both Excel & Power BI.
β’ Analyze datasets to provide insights and create visualizations that tell a compelling data story.
β’ Ensure compliance with analytical standards and data governance policies to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
β’ Challenge stakeholders to prioritize long-term, data-driven decisions over quick fixes.
β’ Identify and communicate process gaps, providing data-driven recommendations to leadership.
β’ Facilitate change management for data and process changes, ensuring smooth implementation and seamless rollout.
β’ Measure and publish operational performance against established metrics and targets.
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in business administration, operations management, supply chain, project management, finance, engineering, or a related field.
β’ Experience with Alteryx for data preparation, modelling, and advanced analytics.
β’ Exceptional ability to analyze and optimize complex operational processes, driving significant improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.
β’ Extensive experience in process mapping and workflow analysis, with a proven track record of identifying and implementing process enhancements.
β’ Strong expertise in root cause analysis and corrective action planning, demonstrating the ability to resolve complex issues and prevent recurrence.
