Leading, prioritising and managing multiple projects run by the Data Office, as well as taking ownership of the actions required to progress initiatives
Being the Data Office contact point for data related projects, and actively collaborating with and supporting a wide range of stakeholders at different levels throughout the firm and supporting these objectives
Operations
Ensuring key stakeholder boards and forums are coordinated, communicated and documented, as well as establishing communities where gaps have been identified and progressing key data initiatives through these communities
Implementing, driving and continuously improving a compliance reporting regime and creating accountability for actions while progressing the projects currently scheduled
Anticipating demand for and actively managing data activity risk and issue logs, plans, activity trackers and activity reporting for both the Data Office and data communities, whilst understanding the workloads of both the Data Office and our stakeholders and prioritising key data initiatives
Managing the day-to-day operations of the Data Office through engaging appropriate resources, identifying operational inefficiencies and proposing strategies to resolve them, and responding proactively to changes in strategy
Governance and Records
Creating and maintaining key documentation under the Data Office’s remit, including policy, standards and training documents, and identifying gaps in the document landscape

Ensure the actions of the Data Office are prioritised and aligned with data strategies
People and Stakeholder Management
Understanding the larger ecosystem within Deloitte, and building and maintaining effective relationships throughout the UK firm, engaging across the entire spectrum of seniority, from the Deloitte Exec to junior practitioners
Use network of stakeholder contacts to gain beneficial insights on data strategies and effectively drive impactful data projects
Awareness and Communications
Actively looking for opportunities to extend the reputation of Data Office excellence across the firm, working with teams to spread the message
Developing, maintaining and delivering material (online, paper, face to face) to help shift the culture of working with data across the firm in a succinct, impactful and influential manner
Creating and delivering training through online and paper-based media, as well as face to face
