Role description
Overview- Our client is hiring a Support Operations Analyst III to support and optimize sales operations through data-driven insights, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. This role focuses on lead management, sales activity reporting, and operational execution, leveraging strong analytical skills and tools such as SQL, Salesforce, Excel, and BI platforms. The ideal candidate has experience working in sales operations, revenue operations, or sales support, is comfortable analyzing complex data sets, and can translate insights into clear recommendations for business stakeholders. This individual is highly organized, deadline-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is an opportunity to play a key role in improving sales efficiency and effectiveness through data, reporting, and process optimization. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate closely with sales and cross-functional support teams to drive operational alignment • Support the launch, maintenance, and continuous improvement of sales processes that enhance efficiency and performance • Develop, maintain, and automate reporting and insights related to lead management and sales activities using SQL, Salesforce, Excel, and Google Sheets • Monitor, investigate, and analyze sales data sets to assess sales productivity, revenue trends, campaign performance, and activity metrics • Package and manage incoming requests from the sales organization, following internal workflows to ensure timely delivery • Manage multiple operational tasks simultaneously, meeting deadlines and providing regular status updates • Develop clear narratives and recommendations from data analysis, build presentations, and present findings to business stakeholders Experience & Qualifications: • 3–5+ years of experience in an operations-focused role (sales operations, revenue operations, or sales support) • 2+ years as a Salesforce power user, including building reports and dashboards • Strong experience with data management, reporting, and data delivery • Hands-on experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as SQL, Salesforce, Excel/Google Sheets, Looker, Power BI, or Tableau • Ability to analyze complex sales data sets, extract insights, and clearly communicate findings and recommendations • Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in business, analytics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience) Key Skills & Attributes: • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities • Comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies • Process-oriented mindset with a focus on identifying improvement opportunities • Confident presenting insights and recommendations to business stakeholders
