Title: Oracle Analytics & Data Warehouse Developer Location: Iselin, NJ USA We are seeking a Oracle Analytics & Data Warehouse Developer (Contract) to design, develop, and maintain enterprise analytics solutions using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), and related technologies. You will build dashboards, semantic models, data pipelines, and integrations to support critical business intelligence initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Develop OAC Workbooks, dashboards, and visualizations • Build and maintain Semantic Models (RPD) using Oracle BI Administration Tool • Design and implement Data Warehouse solutions (Star/Snowflake schemas) • Create ODI mappings, packages, and load plans for ETL/ELT processes • Develop and maintain OAC Classic Reports (Pixel Perfect) • Manage OCI Cloud infrastructure for analytics workloads • Support legacy OBIEE and Hyperion environments and migrations • Build REST API integrations for data automation Detail Job Responsibilities Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Development • Design and develop ODI mappings, packages, and load plans for data integration • Create reusable ODI components including knowledge modules, variables, and sequences • Implement CDC (Change Data Capture) and incremental loading strategies • Configure ODI agents, topology connections, and security settings • Troubleshoot ODI execution errors and optimize job performance • Manage ODI repository and perform version control activities Data Warehouse Development • Design and implement dimensional data models (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema) following Kimball or Inmon methodologies • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes for data warehouse loading and transformation • Create and optimize fact tables, dimension tables, and aggregate tables • Design and maintain data warehouse architecture for scalability and performance • Develop stored procedures, functions, and database objects for data processing Semantic Model & RPD Development • Design, build, and maintain the Semantic Model/RPD (Repository) using the Model Administration Tool • Create and optimize Business Models, Logical Table Sources, and Presentation Catalogs • Develop complex calculations, aggregations, and time-series functions within the semantic layer • Implement row-level security, data filters, and object permissions in the RPD • Perform RPD migrations, merges, and deployments across development, test, and production environments • Troubleshoot and resolve RPD-related performance issues and logical SQL problems Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) Development • Design, develop, and maintain OAC workbooks, dashboards, OAC Classic Reports and visualizations to meet business reporting requirements • Implement pixel-perfect reports and interactive dashboards for various stakeholders • Configure and manage OAC instances, including security, connections, and system settings Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Administration • Provision and manage OCI resources including Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP), and OAC instances • Configure OCI networking, security lists, and IAM policies for analytics workloads • Implement data integration between on-premises systems and OCI cloud services • Monitor OCI resource utilization and optimize costs • Manage OCI Object Storage for data lake and staging requirements API Development & Integration • Develop and consume REST APIs for OAC automation and integration • Integrate OAC with external applications using APIs and web services Technical Skills Required: • OAC/OBIEE: Expert-level proficiency in OAC Data Visualization, Classic Analytics, Answers, Dashboards, Agents, and BI Publisher • Semantic Modeling: Advanced RPD development including complex joins, level-based measures, aggregate navigation, and fragmentation • Data Warehouse: Strong experience in dimensional modeling, ETL design patterns, and data architecture • ODI: Proficient in ODI 12c development including mappings, packages, load plans, and knowledge modules • SQL/PLSQL: Expert-level SQL and PL/SQL skills for Oracle Database • OCI: Experience with OCI console, CLI, and services (ADW, ATP, Object Storage, OAC) • APIs: Experience with REST API development and integration. Preferred: • Hyperion: Experience with Hyperion Financial Reporting, Planning, Essbase, or HFM • Python/Java: Scripting skills for automation and API integration • Git: Version control experience for collaborative development
