Oracle APEX Business Analyst

Kindly go through the entire email.- Hybrid Title: Business Analyst – Oracle APEX Location- Hybrid, San Francisco, CA Duration: Initially stated 12+ months Long Term Contract (Potential to Extend for Multiple) Pay Rate: $Market/hr on W2/C2C (as per min expectation) Skills Required: • Collaborate with stakeholders from public safety agencies to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. • Translate business needs into functional specifications for Oracle APEX developers. • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions with end users and technical teams. • Develop process models, use cases, and workflow diagrams to support application design. • Assist in the design and testing of Oracle APEX applications, ensuring alignment with agency requirements. • Support data migration, integration, and reporting efforts across public safety systems. • Provide training and support to end users during deployment and post-implementation. • Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory standards relevant to public safety. Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a public sector or public safety environment. • Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle database concepts. • Knowledge of Agile or hybrid project management methodologies. • Experience with GIS, CAD, RMS, or other public safety technologies. • Understanding data governance and compliance in public sector environments. • Strong understanding of Oracle APEX platform and its capabilities. • Proven experience working with public safety agencies (e.g., police, fire, EMS). • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Familiarity with HIPAA, NFIRS, or other public safety data standards is a plus. Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Public Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
