Role description
Position: Business Analyst – Oracle PDH Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite) Required Experience: 10+ years Role Overview: Collaborate with business partners to understand and anticipate their needs, translating them into IT requirements. Incorporate requests into the product roadmap and ensure alignment with business strategy and goals. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and translate them into IT solutions. • Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of cross-functional stakeholders. Groom, manage, and prioritize the product backlog based on changing requirements. • Develop user stories with clear acceptance criteria and execute test plans; must be well-versed in JIRA. • Oversee all stages of requirement implementation, including design and development phases. • Identify, create, and facilitate business and system process analysis and design; focus on quality improvement, data management, and process re-engineering. • Provide program-level analysis, producing required documentation: requirements, use cases, sequence diagrams, process diagrams, future state proposals, and UAT plans. • Collaborate closely with developers to implement requirements effectively. • Monitor and evaluate program/requirements progress and results at each stage; liaise with development teams and end-users to deliver updates. • Manage business relationships, set expectations, and communicate updates on day-to-day activities and program progress. Skills and Experience • Experience with Oracle Fusion PDH and Oracle Fusion Pricing preferred. • Strong data analysis skills, including SQL and Microsoft Excel proficiency. • Expertise in requirement gathering, process modeling, and documentation. • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional global teams and lead by influence. • Experience working on large-scale programs and handling day-to-day operational business requests. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with excellent attention to detail. • Team player with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
