Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Engineer to join our Microsoft Infrastructure Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including both IaaS and PaaS services. This role focuses on the configuration, administration, and optimization of OCI environments and services, including compute, networking, storage, and advanced Oracle PaaS offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design, deploy, and manage IaaS and PaaS solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
β’ Configure and maintain OCI components including VCNs, Subnets, Routing Rules, Load Balancers, and Compute Instances
β’ Administer Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP) and Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) services
β’ Set up and support Oracle PaaS tools:
β’ Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
β’ Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)
β’ Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW)
β’ Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
β’ Manage Jump Servers, SFTP servers, and OCI storage components
β’ Support daily operations: incident resolution, release management, patching, and backups
β’ Control environment access and role-based permissions within OCI
β’ Lead the resolution of complex escalated issues, coordinating with internal teams and third-party vendors
β’ Support Oracle Cloud appliance-based data transfers as needed
Qualifications:
β’ 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or similar platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
β’ In-depth knowledge of OCI architecture and components: compute, storage, networking, identity & security
β’ Strong experience with Oracle PaaS offerings, including Oracle Integration and Analytics services
β’ Hands-on experience with Autonomous Database services (ATP/ADW)
β’ Proficiency in Windows Server (2016β2022) and/or Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7β9)
β’ Solid troubleshooting skills in enterprise OS environments
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
β’ Ability to work independently and support multiple concurrent tasks in a dynamic environment
