Oracle Cloud HCM BI, Reporting & Dashboard Analyst Location: Remote - client located in Denton, TX Employment Type: Contract ο»Ώ ο»Ώ Role Overview We are seeking an Oracle Cloud HCM BI, Reporting, and Dashboard Analyst. This role is responsible for the design, development, management, and support of enterprise reports and dashboards for Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) applications. The analyst will use Oracle BI Publisher (BIP), Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), and Oracle Cloud–native analytics tools to deliver operational, analytical, and executive reports. The immediate focus will be on new report development to address a significant backlog, followed by long-term maintenance and enhancements. ο»Ώ Key Responsibilities β€’ Design, develop, administer, and support HCM reports and dashboards using Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) and OTBI. β€’ Build interactive OTBI dashboards for HR, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and executive leadership. β€’ Develop complex SQL queries, data templates, and RTF layouts to support operational and analytical HCM reporting. β€’ Create role-based dashboards with drilldowns, prompts, KPIs, and visualizations aligned to business needs. β€’ Develop and manage scheduled, burst, and ad hoc reports, ensuring accurate and timely delivery. β€’ Collaborate with functional analysts to gather and document reporting and dashboard requirements. β€’ Troubleshoot data accuracy, performance, and visualization issues in reports and dashboards. β€’ Support testing and validation of reports and dashboards during Oracle quarterly updates and HCM enhancements. β€’ Provide production support through ticketing systems and incident response. β€’ Maintain a reporting catalog, including metric definitions, data sources, and security roles. Required Qualifications Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required. Additional job-related experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. ο»Ώ Experience: Five to seven years of relevant experience in Oracle Cloud reporting development and support, with a strong emphasis on BI Publisher. Experience supporting Oracle SaaS applications is strongly preferred. ο»Ώ Technical Skills β€’ Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) for enterprise report development. β€’ Strong SQL skills for querying Oracle Cloud Fusion HCM data models. β€’ Demonstrated experience designing and supporting interactive dashboards using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and Smart View. β€’ Experience designing dashboards with KPIs, prompts, drill-downs, filters, and visualizations. β€’ Understanding of Oracle Cloud data security and role-based access controls. β€’ Ability to translate functional business requirements into scalable and maintainable reports and dashboards. ο»Ώ Preferred Qualifications β€’ Experience in a higher education or public sector environment. β€’ Familiarity with FERPA, HIPAA, SOC 2, or similar regulatory requirements. β€’ Experience with AI reporting or Python is a nice-to-have. β€’ Familiarity with Oracle EPM integrations.
