Job Title: Data Engineer (Oracle / ETL)
Location: Westlake, TX or Merrimack, NH (Hybrid)
Duration: 12+ Months
Role Overview
The Data Engineer will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining data warehouse
and analytics solutions with a strong focus on Oracle technologies. This role requires deep
expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL development, and ETL processes, along with experience in
performance tuning and data integration across environments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries in Oracle environments.
Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL components including stored procedures,
functions, packages, and triggers.
Perform performance tuning and optimization of Oracle databases and queries.
Build and maintain ETL pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter.
Implement data warehousing solutions and dimensional data models.
Support data integration across cloud and on-premises environments.
Develop automation scripts using Unix and Python.
Work with batch scheduling tools such as Control-M and Autosys.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Maintain source code using GitHub and leverage tools such as GitHub Copilot.
Experience
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and analytics.
Technical Skills
Expert-level experience with Oracle SQL and complex query development.
Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL (stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers).
Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter.
Strong experience in Oracle performance tuning and optimization.
Knowledge of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
Experience with dimensional modeling techniques.
Experience with scripting using Unix and Python.
Familiarity with batch scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys).
Experience with GitHub for source code management.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Education
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or
equivalent experience).
Preferred Skills
Experience with OBIEE/OAS.
Exposure to Python (in addition to scripting).
Experience with GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot.
