Role description
Reed Secure is a specialist provider of permanent, contract, temporary and outsourced recruitment solutions for security cleared professionals.
We require an Oracle Data Migration SME to cover an existing workload within Metropolitan Police, based in Holborn Police Station HQ Offices (Hybrid working: 3 days office based – Thursday is mandatory; other days flexible).
This is an interim position for an initial 6 months with the potential to be extended, dependent on workload.
Job Purpose:
• Project: Migration from on-premise Oracle E-Business Suite to Oracle Fusion Cloud.
• Key systems involved: Oracle Fusion (Finance, Procurement, HR, Payroll), Oracle Recruitment Cloud & Resource Management systems.
• Responsibilities include data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
• Data quality assessment and cleansing.
• Ensuring data aligns with strategy and reconciles post-migration.
• Supporting the master vendor (not hands-on transformation).
Skills and experience needed to be successful in this role:
• Proven experience with Oracle Fusion data migration.
• 4 years+ Oracle Fusion experience.
• Hands-on experience with HR, Payroll, and Finance modules.
• Understanding of data security and working with sensitive data.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience working with both technical and business teams.
• Public sector experience would be beneficial.
• Experience with multiple data sources (e.g., spreadsheets, small databases).
This role offers a competitive salary of £600 per day Umbrella (Inside IR35) and you’ll be working via Reed who offer great benefits such as discounts, cashback offers and more as well as weekly pay.
