Database Developer - Responsibilities:
• Maintain and enhance internal database applications that support financial and reporting functions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into effective database solutions.
• Automate reporting processes and ensure reliable monthly data loads into the data warehouse.
• Support both application development activities and production support for database systems.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
Database Developer - Qualifications:
• A 4-year college degree with at least 2 years of experience in database development or administration.
• Proficiency in Oracle (11g/19c), including SQL, PL/SQL, and SQL
• Plus, with minimum 2 years of hands-on experience.
• Experience working on Linux operating systems, including shell scripting, for at least 2 years.
• Familiarity with TOAD or similar database tools, with at least 2 years of experience.
• Advanced Excel skills, such as macros and VLookup functions.
• Knowledge of scheduling tools like ESP or Stonebranch UAC is preferred.
• Basic understanding of MS Access and Python is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects efficiently.
• Detail-oriented approach with a focus on quality and accuracy.
