A large well known healthcare data analytics company is urgently looking to hire an Oracle Database Developer to join their team remotely in Atlanta, GA!

β’ This is a 9+ month contract to hire on W2 offering a full benefits package

β’ Required Skills & Experience
β’ Bachelors degree or higher
β’ 8+ experience in enterprise software design and development using ORACLE
β’ Bachelor's or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent
β’ Hands-on experience with advanced oracle features such as BULK Collection.
β’ Proficiency in Database Development and Performance tuning in Oracle RDBMS.
β’ Deep understanding of advanced features in Oracle database development.
β’ Experience with standard tools, JIRA, GIT
β’ Understanding of prevalent Software Development Lifecycle Methodologies with specific exposure or participation in Agile Scrum techniques preferred
β’ CI servers configuration (Hudson/Jenkins/Bamboo, Cruise Control). CI/CD implementation
What You Will Be Doing:
β’ The Sr. Software database Engineer is primarily responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining database applications and reusable software components deployed in the product suite.
β’ You will collaborate effectively with senior developers, offshore development team members, business owners, project management, and other internal stakeholders.
β’ Participate in the design and development of software applications from product vision to implementation.
β’ Provide critical thinking to develop creative and innovative solutions to the business problems
β’ Drive Application design through global teams to build applications that drive significant business value faster
β’ Evaluate new technologies, external products, and designs for their applicability to roadmap requirements and make recommendations
β’ Consult with infrastructure teams to fit infrastructure to architecture, as well as to identify when it is necessary to modify the technical architecture to accommodate infrastructure needs
β’ Design, support, and continuously enhance product code base, continuous integration pipeline, etc.
β’ Investigation and resolution of performance and stability issues in production systems
β’ Collaboration with a globally distributed team
β’ Work inside the team of software and DevOps engineers
β’ Identify opportunities for improvements in scalability, performance, security, and serviceability
