Job#: 2085142 Job Description: Title: Oracle Developer Client: Finance Location: Chicago, IL (5 days onsite) Rate: $Negotiable Duration: 6+ Month Contract (extend/convert possible) Job Description: Specific Skillsets Required: β€’ Oracle Development (PL/SQL) β€’ Informatica experience β€’ Analysis and Performance tuning of queries and scripts Desired Skills: β€’ Conducts logical and physical database design β€’ Designs key and indexing schemes and designs partitioning β€’ Constructs and implements operational data store β€’ Analyze and Optimize query performance β€’ Ensures that data models are consistent with the ecosystem β€’ Adheres to data management standards and advises on best practices β€’ Participates in building and testing business continuity disaster recovery procedures per requirements β€’ Has experience with relational database internals, including both query processing and query planning, or other data processing infrastructure β€’ Has knowledge of key data structures and algorithms β€’ Has knowledge of data modeling and understanding of different data structures and their benefits and limitations under particular use cases β€’ Has experience with dealing with data at scale β€’ Has experience adhering to strict audit standards β€’ Has experience with relational database management systems (e.g. Oracle) β€’ Has experience in different programming/scripting languages (e.g. python) and ETL tools (e.g. Informatica) β€’ Experience with Data Analysis and Science will be a plus, the ideal candidate should be able to understand the business driven off the data and how it fits into the Application platform Top 3 Job Qualifications: β€’ 5 to 10 years of Oracle Applications related development experience using PL/SQL. β€’ 2 to 3 years of Informatica development experience. β€’ Development and troubleshooting skills using SQL, PLSQL and Shell scripts.
