Role : Oracle EBS Developer Location : Albany, NY - Hybrid Overall, both candidates had good exposure to Oracle EBS, but they fell a bit short on the depth of their technical hands-on knowledge, particularly around BI Publisher, workflows, and performance/debugging areas. It wasn’t so much about their communication, both were clear and professional, but more about the substance of their responses, which indicated limited practical experience in some of the technical areas we were looking for in a core developer role. Top Skills: Working directly with Oracle EBS HCM or Finance modules Oracle EBS development tools, including Forms, Reports, Workflow, and Oracle database programming languages. Oracle EBS R12 Application architecture, data structures, and functionality around all Oracle EBS modules and must be familiar with Oracle APIs of these modules. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS • Strong working knowledge of Oracle EBS R12 Application architecture, data structures, and functionality around all Oracle EBS modules and must be familiar with Oracle APIs of these modules. • Core focus on Oracle EBS development tools, including Forms, Reports, Workflow, and Oracle database programming languages. • Experience with AOL including setups and registrations of concurrent programs, and a good underlying knowledge of Oracle Application module table structures and APIs. • Must be able to solve complex technical problems and communicate the solution to non-technical management, peers, and end users. • Knowledge of SOA and Oracle Apex development. • Experience with Oracle's Workflow Administration development. • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Good public speaking and presentation skills. • Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels. • Must demonstrate the ability to organize and plan tasks; the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally. • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. • Ability to pay attention to details and be organized. • Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in person. • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
