Genesis10 is currently seeking an Oracle Developer with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:
β’ Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test software applications that support business units or supporting functions
β’ Involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools
β’ Participate in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies
β’ Provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives
β’ Serve as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource
β’ Lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations
β’ Collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application
β’ Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities
β’ Design and execute test plans and performing gap analysis to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications are tested and fulfilled
Requirements:
β’ 11-12 years of experience
β’ 7+ years working with PL/SQL
β’ 5+ years of SQL and SQL Tuning experience
β’ Knowledge of Oracle 19cg/Oracle 21c added capabilities and functionality
β’ Strong programming/development skills using PL/SQL (package, procedures, functions, triggers) and batch coding skills such as Bulk collections, dynamic SQL, and parallel processing
β’ Experience working with source control
β’ Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems quickly and communicate proposed solutions
β’ Knowledge and experience with Performance tuning
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
β’ Knowledge of Oracle 19cg/Oracle 21c /Unix/python
β’ Experience in advance PL/SQL/tuning/UTL feature/ Developer Tools (toad)
β’ Developing PL/SQL Packages, Procedures Functions, Cursors and Triggers
β’ Proficient in performance tuning (PL/SQL) using SQL Trace, Explain Plan, Indexing and Hints
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
β’ Excellent written/verbal communication skills
β’ Experience working on system migration project involving RDBMS, Oracle built in features, PL/SQL programming, shell scripting and entry level python scripting
β’ Oracle PL/SQL and RDBMS
β’ Lunix/Unix Shell Scripting
β’ Python Scripting
β’ Knowledge of object-oriented design and architecture/SOLID
β’ Detail-oriented, with the ability to check your work and document your processes on a fixed schedule
Pay Range: $55.06 - $63.06
