Genesis10 is currently seeking an Oracle Developer with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: • Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test software applications that support business units or supporting functions • Involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools • Participate in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies • Provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives • Serve as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource • Lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations • Collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application • Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities • Design and execute test plans and performing gap analysis to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications are tested and fulfilled Requirements: • 11-12 years of experience • 7+ years working with PL/SQL • 5+ years of SQL and SQL Tuning experience • Knowledge of Oracle 19cg/Oracle 21c added capabilities and functionality • Strong programming/development skills using PL/SQL (package, procedures, functions, triggers) and batch coding skills such as Bulk collections, dynamic SQL, and parallel processing • Experience working with source control • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems quickly and communicate proposed solutions • Knowledge and experience with Performance tuning • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Knowledge of Oracle 19cg/Oracle 21c /Unix/python • Experience in advance PL/SQL/tuning/UTL feature/ Developer Tools (toad) • Developing PL/SQL Packages, Procedures Functions, Cursors and Triggers • Proficient in performance tuning (PL/SQL) using SQL Trace, Explain Plan, Indexing and Hints • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent written/verbal communication skills • Experience working on system migration project involving RDBMS, Oracle built in features, PL/SQL programming, shell scripting and entry level python scripting • Oracle PL/SQL and RDBMS • Lunix/Unix Shell Scripting • Python Scripting • Knowledge of object-oriented design and architecture/SOLID • Detail-oriented, with the ability to check your work and document your processes on a fixed schedule Pay Range: $55.06 - $63.06 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
