Summary:
β’ Tier One Technologies is seeking an Oracle Developer for our direct US Government client.
β’ This will be a 100% remote contract-to-hire position.
β’ SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.
β’ Must be a US Citizen.
Responsibilities:
β’ Plan, direct, and coordinate all activities associated with creating software across multiple functional areas and products.
β’ Prioritize and allocate projects, products, and resources with the assistance of architects and managers.
β’ Participate in strategic decisions about technology, definition, and implementation of software products.
β’ Use expertise to design develop, code, test, and debug software.
β’ May work in one or several areas, such as equipment or software design, engineering evaluation or test, configuration management procedures, statistical analysis and modeling.
β’ Work with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives.
β’ Provide analytical support and technical advice during the conceptualization, development, and implementation phases.
β’ Plan and schedule new applications systems projects with user, systems software, and computer center operations personnel, including the identification of objectives, time frames, costs, and manpower requirements.
β’ Perform tasks necessary to ensure the identification and documentation of hazards within software systems using various analysis tools and techniques.
β’ Review and evaluate systems and software for adherence to government or commercial directives, standards, guidelines, and criteria concerning software safety and systems safety.
β’ Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and correct problems.
β’ Evaluate code to ensure it is valid, meets industry standards and is compatible with devices or operating systems.
Qualifications:
β’ Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required.
β’ 5+ years of Oracle related experience.
β’ Oracle APEX experience is a plus.
β’ Strong knowledge of Oracle DBMS 12c or higher.
β’ Advanced knowledge of PL/SQL.
β’ Experience with Oracle Reports.
β’ Familiarity with JavaScript and HTML.
β’ Development experience in Agile methodology.
β’ Excellent communication skills.
β’ Ability to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.
β’ Must be a US Citizen (no dual citizenship).
β’ Must not have traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in the last 5 years.
β’ Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years.
