Role description
Oracle EBS Developer (Cloud-Based) Location: Boca Raton, FL (Initially Remote and will have to relocated in 2-3 Months) Job Type: 6 Months Contract to Hire role (100% Conversion to Full Time) Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Developer with expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL) modules in a cloud-based Oracle EBS environment. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL development, performance tuning, and Oracle Forms customization. This role will involve designing, developing, and enhancing Oracle EBS applications while ensuring system stability, scalability, and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and enhance Oracle EBS R12 applications with a focus on AR, AP, and GL modules in a cloud-based environment. • Design, develop, and maintain custom PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers to support business needs. • Perform SQL query tuning and performance optimization to improve system efficiency. • Customize and develop Oracle Forms and Reports to align with business requirements. • Develop and troubleshoot interfaces, conversions, and concurrent programs using Oracle APIs and standard methodologies. • Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Work with Oracle Workflow, BI Publisher, and Oracle Alerts to enhance reporting and automation. • Support Oracle Cloud migration initiatives and integrate Oracle EBS with cloud-based applications. • Perform unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) for developed solutions. • Provide production support and troubleshooting for Oracle EBS applications, ensuring minimal downtime. • Document technical specifications, solutions, and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience as an Oracle EBS Developer with expertise in AR, AP, and GL modules. • Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development, performance tuning, and query optimization. • Proficiency in Oracle Forms, Reports, and personalization/customization techniques. • Experience working with Oracle EBS in a cloud-based environment (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle SaaS/PaaS). • Hands-on experience with Oracle APIs, Interfaces, and Open Interface Tables. • Knowledge of Oracle Workflow, BI Publisher, and XML Publisher. • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in a complex Oracle EBS environment. • Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting and job scheduling tools is a plus. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications and integration. • Knowledge of Oracle EBS upgrade processes and best practices. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Experience with REST/SOAP web services and integrating Oracle EBS with third-party applications. Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud certifications (preferred but not required).
