Overview
The organization is seeking a senior-level Oracle EPM Technical Application Consultant / SME to support, optimize, and enhance Oracle EPM Cloud applications. This role partners closely with Finance, Accounting, and FP&A teams to design scalable planning processes, improve performance, and ensure reliable, highโquality EPM operations across the enterprise.
The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on expertise across EPM Planning/EPBCS/Essbase, FCCS (and/or HFM), and EDMCS/DRM/DRG, with a strong background in designing planning cycles and tuning calculation performance at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and enhance Oracle EPM Cloud solutions using enterprise standards and best practices.
Serve as a technical SME for production support, including break/fix and enhancement work.
Architect and implement planning processes in EPM Planning/EPBCS, including driverโbased planning, forecasting, scenario modeling, workflows, forms, Smart View, and endโtoโend cycles.
Develop and maintain calculation scripts, business rules, Groovy rules (where applicable), and Essbase artifacts.
Optimize calculation performance through efficient design, block/aggregation strategy, rule sequencing, and data volume management.
Build and maintain dimension builds, data loads, automations, and batch integrations.
Integrate GL and upstream finance data sources using Data Management or other integration patterns.
Support migrations from onโpremise EPM solutions to Oracle EPM Cloud, including artifact refactoring.
Produce highโquality technical documentation for design, training, and knowledge transfer
