Oracle / ETL Database Developer (Senior) Location: Woburn, MA (Hybrid – Tuesday through Thursday in office) (must be local and able to commute for in-office days) Experience Level: Senior (8+ years) Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Oracle / ETL Database Developer to support enterprise analytics and data integration initiatives. This role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining robust ETL pipelines, database structures, and analytics solutions in support of business reporting and decision‑making. The ideal candidate brings deep experience with Oracle-based platforms, ETL development, data modeling, and analytics tools, and is comfortable partnering with technical teams and business stakeholders in a collaborative environment. This is a hybrid position based in Woburn, MA, requiring in‑office presence Tuesday through Thursday. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, maintain, and optimize ETL processes to support project‑specific and enterprise data integration requirements • Build, test, and document ETL programs and workflows to ensure data accuracy, scalability, and performance • Perform data mapping and transformation from transactional source systems to data warehouse and analytics targets • Design and maintain logical and physical data models following enterprise standards and best practices • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI to support business analytics • Develop, configure, and support analytics solutions using Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) • Utilize Microsoft Azure services (Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database) to support ETL and cloud‑based data integration • Perform data validation, integrity checks, and performance tuning on databases and ETL pipelines • Ensure reliability and quality of data structures through monitoring and troubleshooting efforts • Document technical designs, data flows, and ETL processes, and manage source code using standard version control tools • Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices related to ETL, analytics platforms, and cloud data solutions • Provide guidance, training, and support to stakeholders using analytics tools and dashboards • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including analytics, engineering, and business partners in an agile development environment Required Qualifications • 8+ years of experience as an Oracle/ETL Database Developer, Data Engineer, or similar senior‑level role • Strong hands‑on experience with ETL development, ODI, data mapping, and enterprise data integration • Proven expertise with Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) and Power BI for reporting and analytics delivery • Advanced SQL skills with experience supporting transactional systems and data warehouse environments • Solid understanding of database architecture, data modeling, and data warehouse design principles • Experience performing data quality checks, validation routines, and performance optimization • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to support technical and non‑technical stakeholders • Experience working in agile, collaborative team environments Preferred Qualifications • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL Database • Experience supporting large‑scale or enterprise analytics platforms • Prior experience working in regulated or highly structured environments Work Environment • Hybrid schedule with on‑site work required Tuesday through Thursday • Office location: Woburn, MA
