Pay Range: $60 - $65/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Collaborate with business partners, product owners, and architecture teams to gather requirements and document designs.
β’ Lead or participate in discussions with the Information Architecture team to propose design solutions and new technology adoption.
β’ Attend project meetings and coordinate across near-shore, offshore, and cross-functional teams including L2 support, development, testing, and upstream/downstream partners.
β’ Deliver hands-on design and ETL development in a Data Warehouse environment.
β’ Work on multiple concurrent projects with ownership and accountability for deliverables.
β’ Address real-time production issues by partnering with Business Analysts to refine detailed technical designs.
β’ Propose technical solutions for business problems and identify technology gaps for viable improvements.
β’ Ensure adherence to process quality standards, governing principles, and delivery of high-quality outputs.
β’ Partner with development and QA teams during post-code development phases.
β’ Drive continuous application improvement initiatives.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
β’ Key skills; ETL, PL/SQL, UNIX
β’ 15+ years of experience as a Developer in large-scale data environments.
β’ Strong leadership, communication, writing, and interpersonal relationship skills across varying levels of influence.
β’ Expertise in system design and architecture with minimal supervision.
β’ Advanced analytical, logical thinking, and self-starter qualities with thought leadership.
β’ Proven ability to bridge technology and business domains for solution implementation.
β’ Deep understanding of Data Warehousing and Dimensional Data Modeling concepts.
β’ Proficiency in project life cycle methodologies and Agile delivery.
β’ Ability to multitask and manage independently in a matrixed team setup.
β’ Expert-level knowledge in Oracle/Exadata, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, and ETL processing.
β’ Experience handling large data volumes with focus on performance tuning.
β’ Exposure to operations within large financial organizations.
